At the virtual Spring Annual Meeting on May 1, we will be holding elections for all positions on our AOTL Executive team. We encourage you to consider putting your name forward.
The window for election nominations opens Saturday, April 3 and closes Saturday, April 17. Each member who wishes to run for an Executive position must submit a nomination email to our Elections Chair, Nichole Stewart-Murray (), between April 3 and 17 inclusive. Please note that this nomination email must include the name and email address of the candidate and the position the candidate is seeking, along with the names and email addresses of two other AOTL members who serve as mover and seconder. Our Elections Chair will send an email reply to each candidate to confirm receipt of the nomination email.
On Sunday, April 18, our Elections Chair will forward the list of duly nominated candidates to the Local Executive, and the President will share the list with the membership.
Elections will be held in the following order: President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Secretary, Member at Large. Any candidate who is unsuccessful in attaining a position originally sought will be eligible to drop down and run for other positions whose elections occur afterwards.
